I'm Chris. By day, I’m an airline captain based out of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A brief back story, I spent my entire childhood in Southern California. In 2013, I officially became a licensed pilot and moved to Indiana to attend Purdue University. I remained there, building flight experience, until 2018 when I made the short move to Ohio to begin my airline career. As of 2020, I'm a certified Tar Heel (I don't know, don't ask me) and am loving my time in the Carolinas.
In my free time, I practice photography, and from time to time I like to write.
I endeavor to lead a minimalist lifestyle, and encourage others to do the same. As such, I take pride in managing Only What Matters, an online community for aspiring minimalists.
I tweet pseudonymously as The Dot Experiment. This account serves as a hub for my locally-focused interests. I'm in the process of spinning this off into Car-Free CLT, a work-in-progress organization which aims to assist Charlotteans with reducing their dependence on the automobile.
