I'm Chris. By day, I’m an airline captain based out of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A brief back story, I spent my entire childhood in Southern California. In 2013, I officially became a licensed pilot and moved to Indiana to attend Purdue University. I remained there, building flight experience, until 2018 when I made the short move to Ohio to begin my airline career. In 2020, I fled south for the winter to North Carolina. I've been loving the Carolinas ever since so it's safe to say I'm a certified Tar Heel (I don't know, don't ask me). In 2021, I completed the upgrade process to officially become an airline Captain, fulfilling a childhood dream.
In my free time I like to go on walks around Charlotte, during which I'll carry my camera and practice photography. From time to time I even like to write.
I endeavor to lead a minimalist lifestyle, and encourage others to do the same. As such, I take pride in managing Only What Matters, an online community for aspiring minimalists.
